Story 2: Apple Picking
Today I went apple picking with my cousins, Jack, Diana, and Faith. We love apples! Faith was so excited she forgot what apples looked like. "Here we are!," said aunt Kristy( Jack and Diana's mom). We all got out of the car. We all looked around, but we didn't see any apples, just...trees! Aunt Kristy looked at her map to see if we were at the right place. "We're at the right place," she said. Jack got out the step stool we packed to look in the jumble of leaves. "No apples in here," said Jack. "Well," said aunt Kristy," We're going to a farm." We drove to the closest farm. "Hello, care to have a tour, city folks?" asked the farmer. "No," said aunt Kristy,"we want to know if we can pick some fruit." "Sure you can! Nothing is better than fresh fruit!," said the farmer. We looked at the trees. "I still don't see any apples!," said Jack. "Do you have any apples?," I asked the farmer. "Yes," said the farmer. "We didn't see any!," said Diana. "Everyone picked my apples because the trees at that fancy apple picking park didn't get proper care and stopped growing apples!!!," said the farmer. "Oh!,"said Jack.
