Story 7: Diana's secret(book two of the great ballerina series)-Chapter 2: The play

Chapter 2: The play
__________________________
I forgot to tell you-the play is today! Here's the script:

Diana: Oh, what a beautiful day! I think I will go out and play.....What did I say? It was something about the day...Wait just a second in time! Why am I only speaking in rhyme? Who tricked me with this evil spell? Maybe it was a goblin with a terrible smell! I will break this curse! I really will! Even if I have to hit that person with my purse!
(I don't really get that part. I think it will be embarrassing to say in front of such a huge crowd...)

Jessie: It must have been the evil witch! She is the most evil witch in the world. At least my friends say so. I will get you there quick!

Ann: I will help!

Olivia: Me too!

Lilly: Me three!

Ann: Me four!

Diana: Enough of these twos and threes! We must get to the castle-follow the bees!

Jessie: Please try to stop rhyming!

Lilly: Pretty please!

Olivia: Pretty, pretty please!

Ann: Pretty, pretty, pretty please!

Diana: Stop it! Stop all this talking or I will have a fit!

That's just part of it. It's pretty weird, isn't it? I've got to go. Bye!

200 posts!

According to my list of posts that I saw when I signed in, this is my 200th post! Isn't that cool(I think it might include the drafts!)? I just wanted to tell you before I left!

Just packed

I just packed all my clothes. It didn't take very long-just half an hour. Everyone else still needs to pack, though.

Going AGAIN!

I'm going again! I take trips all the time. We have to pack today, and leave REALLY early tomorrow morning-probably around 7:00 or something. To me, 7:00 is REALLY early. I usually wake up at 8:00. I don't get out of bed until half an hour after 8:00 because I'm so tired. The trip takes about five hours. I am bringing LOTS of books that will last the whole way there. I am bringing one that takes four and a half hours to read. And some others to read just in case I get tired of one of them. Bye!

Story 7: Diana's secret(book two from the great ballerina series)-Chapter 1: The discovery

This story is told by the girl in the story, Diana(from The great ballerina). Here:

Chapter 1: The discovery
_____________________________
It's me. Remember? I'm Diana. And, by the way, that death cat is still on the loose. Ha! I bet It's all out of breath. I think I was thinking such scary thoughts I must have been running as fast as a race car. I have so much to tell you! But first, I need you to keep a secret. I'm a mermaid. I really am. Really! But don't tell ANYONE! It's just between you, me, and Jessie. We were learning to do underwater ballet. And suddenly my legs started tightening together. They were in so much pain. I wondered, what's happening? Suddenly, my legs disappeared. It was really weird. And do you know what I saw growing back in their place? A tail. A beautiful, long, purple tail. I was a mermaid. As soon as I got out of the water, my tail went away and my legs came back. It was a good thing nobody saw me. If they did, the swim teacher(she was not Ms. Lulluna) would have taken me to some sort of laboratory! The scientists would start thinking I'm some sort of new kind of creature, part human and part fish. I told Jessie about it. Please keep it a secret! I have to go now. I'll be back soon. Maybe tomorrow. I promise I'll be back soon!

Two stories at the same time!

I'm writing another story. I will start writing it now, but keep writing Chief beef detective, too. Look at the titles to make sure if a chapter to one of my stories is a chapter to the one your reading!

Not just for the extra time, also for if I get tired of one book. I'll just move on to another. It will be really fun!

More about Shell

We didn't know when Shell's birthday was, of course, so we decided that he would have the same birthday as me. That means he is about 3 years old. We don't really know what kind he is, but one time I went to a Petco or whatever it's called. It is a pet shop and has lots of pets. They were mostly fish and parakeets, but then I saw some turtles. The turtles looked just like Shell, but three times as big. I read the label. I forgot what the whole thing said, but I remember it said it is some kind of map turtle. So that's all we know about what kind of turtle Shell is. We think he's a boy. We didn't know he could swim because in his old tank he didn't even have an inch of water. There are about four inches in this tank, so now he can really swim. When he gets high enough to a place with an inch of water, he puts his front legs on the big red rock that's in there and stands on his back legs and pops little bubbles from the filter with his nose. It's really cool to watch him do that. My mom posted a picture of Shell on her blog.

P.S. Outside it's snowing like crazy! There was barely any snow before it started snowing this morning, now there is at least an inch!!!

The story of Shell

My turtle, Shell, doesn't come from the place you think-he doesn't come from a pet shop. So, you are probably thinking where we got him, then. Our dogs, Casey and Maisy, died. My dad went to the Library to return some books. On the way back to his car, he found a turtle that was about to get run over by a car! He got the turtle, and thought since our dogs died, it would make a good pet. He brought it to the car and put it in a plastic container. He brought him home as a surprise for us.

Code

Here is a code:

MDIC means: My dad is crazy

All about Chief beef detective(in other words, Sparky)

You have been reading about Chief beef detective(Sparky)in the new story. Believe it or not, we really DID go camping. Me and my grandma and grandpa. They really are Sparky's owners, too. And there WAS a beautiful lake that sparkled like diamonds at sunrise and gleamed like gold at sunset. There WAS a beach and I really DID like to search the other camping spaces for coins. And we also DID try to solve the mystery of the beef rock! We found a picture of it in a book. We read that it was missing, and we started searching. We even found all the pieces of the rock! We just didn't have time to put them together. Cool, huh? Here are some things about Sparky:

1. Sparky loves naps
2. Sparky has a big gorilla stuffed animal he likes to play with(it's bigger than him!)
3. Sparky likes going for walks through the forest(I like to walk with him. The forest has a pond, trees, blackberry bushes...)
4. Sparky likes it when I brush him with his wooden brush
5. Sparky likes sitting on my grandpa's chair
6. Sparky likes to bark when someone knocks on the door(he'll run to the door and bark like crazy. I think he does that so that we hear him in case we don't hear the door.)

Those are some things about Sparky.

Story 6: Chief beef detective-Chapter two: A mystery

"Sparky! Come here!"Isabelle said. It was early in the morning-only 6:00. Chief beef detective was a talking dog, but only his owners knew it."What, Isabelle?"he asked, heading toward Isabelle's chair. Her chair was right outside the trailer, under the thing that Sparky, Chief beef detective, called a roll-out umbrella because he didn't really like how the actual word for it sounded. The trailer was at the top of a big hill above a dazzling lake. At sunrise the lake would sparkle like crystals, and at sunset the lake would glint like gold. It was a beautiful sight to see. There was a beach nearby, too. Isabelle liked to search all the camping spots for coins. She saved them up to make Sparky some money. Every time Sparky solved a mystery, she would give him some coins. She usually gave him three cents for every mystery he solved. If it was easy, she gave him a penny, if it was hard, she gave him five cents, and if it was a usual regular mystery, she gave him three cents. That was the way it worked. Money reminded Sparky of the Isabelle."What, Isabelle?"he said again."Come here. I need to show you something,"Isabelle said. Sparky ran over to Isabelle."What's in the book?"he asked."You have to come see,"Isabelle said,"Come all the way here." "Okay,"Sparky said. He looked at the book. He could read, too."So they call it the beef rock?"he asked."Yep,"Isabelle whispered,"I'll read the rest. The writing would be hard for you to see because the sun is shining on it." "How about we go back in and I can read it?"Sparky asked. He really wanted to learn more about the beef rock."Okay,"Isabelle said. They went in. Sparky started reading:

"The beef rock
The beef rock was found in China in 1987. It looked like a big, raw ham and was sold to a museum in Chicago, Illinois for 5,000 dollars. Lots of people came to see it. It really looked like it was worth 7,000 dollars, so the Chinese made a good deal. But in 2001 the rock was reported missing. All they know is that the thief comes from Kentucky. They have been looking for it for years, questioning people and searching their houses and backyards and cars. It is still yet to be found."

"Do you want to solve that mystery, Sparky? If you do, I'll give you a whole doolar,"Isabelle said. "Okay. Deal,"Sparky said. He laid down to take a nap.

Story 6: Chief beef detective-Chapter one: The great dog-detective

Chief beef detective, the only dog-detective in the world, was with his owners. They were all going camping in their trailer. Chief beef detective(his real name was Sparky)was napping. He didn't know about it, but tomorrow morning he would have to solve one of the greatest mysteries(that had to do with beef)in the world.

Get ready for chief beef detective!

Chief Beef Detective is coming-with a whole series of adventures! There will be three stories, each with five or six chapters!

Story 5: The great ballerina-Chapter seven: The end

Diana was late, but her worries were gone since she out ran the cat. She got detention, but she didn't care. She knew that soon she would have another adventure.

The End...For now

Story 5: The great ballerina-Chapter six: The death cat

Diana ran down the hall, screaming in fear, as the cat chased after her. The cat was small, but very fast. It caught up with Diana every step. Diana could feel her heart pounding as she started to pray. This cat was faster then any cat Diana had ever seen-not to mention scarier. I feel more like I'm being chased by a lion then a small cat, Diana thought. She was so scared she couldn't think of anything else but the cat and herself about to die. These scary thoughts helped her pick up the pace. The cat was still close behind, but Diana grew faster with every step. I guess I just have to thing of how scary this is, She thought. Diana thought about the Demon cat and grew a bit faster. She thought about death from the cat eating her and that helped her grow a lot faster. The cat must be at least ten feet behind me. She looked over her shoulder. The cat was gone. It vanished. Diana smiled and ran back to her bedroom, got dressed, got herself some cereal, and went to class.

Story 5: The great ballerina-Chapter five: What in the world.....?

Diana woke up very early. She peered at her clock. It said in great, big digital numbers 6:32. She usually woke up at seven, but the light was streaming into the room and landed on Diana's bedside table. I sure woke up early, Diana thought, or maybe it's the other way around. Diana got out of bed and tiptoed into the hallway and looked at the huge clock that hung on the wall. It wasn't anything like the clock on her bedside table. Her bedside clock was small and red, while the Hallway clock was big and black. It had a gold rim and looked very heavy. What kind of numerals are those? I know Ms. Lulluna said they were some kind of numerals. She said they all looked like letters and that just one of those could even mean a thousand-that's weird. I wish our numerals were like that. It would be much easier to do our math class, then, Diana thought. She thought and thought about those numerals. Then she finally remembered."They're Roman numerals!"Diana said. Her voice was quiet, but it sounded like a scream to her. This is so weird! I know that weird things have been happening a lot lately, but this is completely crazy, Diana thought. She was worried and confused when she saw that the Hallway clock had Arabic numerals now and it was half the size it always was. Diana was worried. What in the world.....? The clock suddenly changed into a tiny digital clock, like the one on Diana's bed. This is not happening, this is not happening, this is not happening, Diana chanted in her head. She pinched herself."OW!"Diana whispered, as she looked at her nails."I have to trim my nails. They are so sharp!"she mumbled to herself. She was definitely not dreaming-and definitely not hurt. She looked at her nails again. They were covered in blood. There was no blood where she pinched herself. What in the world.....? she thought again. She was terrified. She looked down the Hallway and saw a dead rat covered in blood, and a cat that had blood all over its paws, getting ready to pounce. Diana screamed. She had never seen such a terrifying scene before. The cat pounced and gobbled up the rat and walked away, paws spattered in blood. Diana screamed again. What's happening? She turned around to see the cat was running down the Hallway, claws glinting in the light, aiming for Diana as her next meal.

World record?

Do you know the fastest time in the world that someone has eaten a WHOLE bowl of oatmeal in? I ate a WHOLE big bowl full of it in two minutes and three seconds! Is that a Guinness world record or something? Please tell me if you know!

Yippee!

Yippee! I don't have to do school until a few days after Thanksgiving! Then I will do school for a week, and stop again for a trip to my grandma's house for Christmas! Yay! I'm so happy! That means a lot more posts and a lot more fun! Awesome!

P.S. I have a lot of great ideas for Christmas and Thanksgiving crafts! I will post those, let's say, after I eat my breakfast. So that's about 10:05 ET(eastern time). In Kentucky, that would be 11:05 or 9:05. I can't remember! Bye! Have to eat my oatmeal! Post after I eat!

SUPER SPIES: TOP SECRET INFORMATION. KIDS ONLY! YOUR FIRST MISSION

Welcome! You want to be a spy, huh? Well, this is your first mission. Help me gather some information on a person who died hundreds of years ago. Find the location of her grave. Look for clues that tell the exact time she died. Day of the week, day of the month, month name, and year. Solve some riddles, too. They will help you. Now. Ready? Let's go!:

Town:
First, search Loghorn street.
Second, search Porlt drive.
Third, search Hayvern street.
I need you to search the graveyards in each of those places. When you find her grave, there is a combination lock. When you unlock it, it will reveal her files, which say the exact day she was born and the exact day she died. It will also have her relatives names and ages. Bring the information to me and write down her graves exact location. The files will also have the exact place she died. Bring this information to me by 3:00 this afternoon. Good luck.

We're at Loghorn street. I see a graveyard right over there. By the way, the woman's name is Mary Louise Ranst. Now go.........

Here's the graveyard. Here's Mary Louis Garnth, Mary Lu Jore, Mary Lo Winel, Mary Louise Petam, Mary Louise Ralsy, Mary Ma- she's not here. Let's check out Porlt drive...................

We're at Porlt drive. The graveyard is right across the street.....

Here's the graveyard. Let's look. Oh-here's Mary Loran Juip, Mary Louis Sharpe, Mary Lass Tel, Mary Lee Darve, Mary Lea Oret, Mary Los Ann, Mary Mol-she's not here, either. Let's see if she's at Hayvern street.............

There's the graveyard! Let's go...

Mary Lora Fawd, Mary Lisa Palygo, Mary Louise Ranst! She's here! Let's see if we can figure out the combination lock-that's going to be tricky. Look! There's a riddle for the combination:

The third number is between 5 and 9, my fifth is either 3 or 2, my forth is the number before or after 7, my first number is 6, and my second is between 2 and 7.

Here, let me try:

64763....Nope.
66682....Not it.
65762....No.
65783....That's it!

Here's her files:

Mary Louise Ranst
Mary Louise Ranst was Born on Thursday, June 3rd 1839 and died on Thursday, June 3rd 1879. It is very odd she was born on the same date of her birth, but in a different year. Her full name wasn't quite what it is thought to be; it is Marie Louise Ranston. Although quite similar, the names have very different meanings. She died in Arlington Heights, Illonois. Her family mambers were

Uh-oh. The rest is burned off. But we still have it. Let's go.

Excellent work! Soon you shall go on your second mission!

Help from Isabelle: Question 3: Math problems

TOP SECRET INFORMATION:KIDS ONLY!

Dear readers,
I have a mission for you all. Whoever finds the answer to this math problem gets their own story on my blog after I finish My stories The Great Ballerina and Chief Beef Detective! Here's the math problem:

4,395 + 3,826 = ?

Comment me the answer! Give me your name, age, and some interesting things about you in your comment, too. The winner also gets an interview on my blog! I will email you after you give me the answer. I will email questions. After you read the questions, send me an email back with the answers to the questions in it. After I receive your answers, I will post the interview on my blog. Think hard and figure out the math problem!

Help from Isabelle: Question 2: I'm so sad

Dear Isabelle,
I'm so sad that Winter is coming! I can't think of anything good about it except for the holidays. Can you think of some other good things about Winter?
-Sad

Dear sad,
Cheer up! Winter's really fun-not just because of the holidays, but because of the things you can do! I know you might live somewhere that doesn't get much snow, but ask your parents if you could take a trip somewhere nice and snowy! Michigan, where I live, gets a lot of snow. Last Winter it snowed over a foot high! The good things about winter: Baking cookies, drinking hot chocolate, making snowmen, making snow angels, sledding, decorating the Christmas tree, and watching Christmas movies-not to mention listening to Christmas songs and carols! Have a fun Winter!
-Isabelle

What do you think?

What do you think of my help posts? The last one was really good. :Thought:
I hope that person finds her dog soon. She's really worried about it:I can't wait to go to Disney
I hope she finds it soon! It's really awesome! So get ready! Send a :world next year!
question today!

Help from Isabelle: Question 1: Can you help me?

Dear Isabelle,
My pet dog has been lost for about a week. What should I do? I know it's almost Winter, so what if we find him dead or injured or frozen from the cold? What will we do then? Should we get a new dog or something? Please help!
-Worried

Dear worried,
I know it hurts when pets run away. I haven't ever had one that ran away, but I know it REALLY hurts. If you don't find him, keep searching! I you don't find him by Christmas, it's time to give up. You know, it's still a few weeks until Christmas. Have you tried making papers that have a picture of your dog, his name, and address? Hang those up everywhere and you'll find your dog in no time! OK, it might not work-I have to admit it-but it still is a good thing to do. If you don't find him by Christmas, get a new dog of the same age and breed! That will help you cheer up! If you want, give it the same name as your old dog. Then it will feel like you never lost your dog-he's still at home with you!
-Isabelle

Where'd I put my...What word was I going to use?

Help! I keep forgetting where I put stuff-and where my thoughts went. Look for them in some upcoming posts. They will be off to the side of what I write. Have fun searching! When you find one, comment on this post to tell me where you found a thought or object. Good luck!

P.S. Soon I will have my own thing where my cousins can write me letters with questions. I will answer them on my blog(I will right some of my own, too!). If you want, you can send me a comment or an email with a question in it. I will pick 5 a week-one on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Also, I will sometimes write questions that you can comment or email me an answer to. Also, the snow is blasting outside! It looks like a big white fog. Bye!
-Isabelle

LOTS of jokes!

Here are some good(I mean great!)jokes!:

Jokes

Where do ants go on vacation?
Frants.

A man bought a parrot, and for twenty years the bird was silent, never uttering so much as a word. Every morning the parrot would wake up, stand patiently on its perch, and wait for its owner to come and feed it. One morning, the man overslept. Using its beak, the parrot pried the cage door open, flew out, and perched on the man's head. Pecking its owner's nose, the parrot squawked and said,"Excuse me, but its nearly noon and I'm famished."The man sat upright."Polly, you can talk!" "Of course, I can talk,"said the parrot."Then why haven't you said anything for twenty years?"asked the man."Because up until now,"replied the bird,"the service has been excellent."

A woman went to a pet shop to buy a parrot. When she picked out a rare breed, the owner congratulated her on her choice."If you'd like, I could send you the bill at the end of the month,"the pet shop owner said."No, thanks,"said the woman,"I'd like to take the whole bird today."

If ten cats are on a boat and one jumps off, how many are left?
None-they're all copycats.

What do you call a lemon-eating cat?
Sourpuss.

Why did the tiger eat the tightrope walker?
He wanted a well-balanced meal.

What do you call a lion that has eaten your mother's sister?
An aunt-eater.

I hope you liked those jokes!

Jokes taken from Noah's favorite animal jokes by Jennifer Hahn(which you should pick up a copy of-it's hilarious!)

What hapened?!

All my commenters have left. I haven't gotten a comment in weeks! What's up with that? Do they think all my posts are so cool they're to busy reading them? Do they just not have enough time to comment? Are my posts not good enough for comments :( ? I DON'T KNOW!!! Should I write more jokes :) ? Let me know!

Dress in your most robot-like clothes for the party(a robot COSTUME would be perfect!). Some good things to wear would be gray or black shirts with buttons on them, black or gray jeans, gray or white socks, and white or black sneakers. If you have a robot costume, put that on instead.
3. Make robot stories:
Make up robot stories and share them with friends!

Snacks:
1. Cracker robots:
Take three crackers and stack them on top of each other. Slather peanut butter all around the stack of crackers. After you put the peanut butter on the stack of crackers, put four small pretzel sticks in the corners at the bottom of the stack. Put raisins on top of the stack for eyes. Stick two more pretzel sticks on the sides as arms. Now it's ready to eat!

Have a fun party!

Face puzzles

Here. You have to guess what word each face means(remember what each face means-that helps!). It's a story:

"I'm so :)!"Jack said as he came rushing down the hall."What's making you so :), Jack? I mean, look at you! You're skipping!" Isabelle said. Jack kept skipping. He looked like he didn't even here her. Maybe it's a secret, Isabelle thought. Just as she got out of her chair to go find Jack, Diana came along. She was skipping too, but that was normal for her. She liked to skip."Do you have any idea why Jack is so :)?"Isabelle asked her,"I'm so :O! He never skips like that!" "I don't know why,"Diana said,"I have NO idea." Diana ;). She sounded like she was keeping something from Isabelle."Did you forget to tell me something?"she asked.

Remember, you can find Alex and Olivia's story Life on a Ship 2: African adventure on their blog. It is on my blogroll. That was part of chapter three. Have fun!

What I learned this week

I know, I know, I'm doing this post a day early! It's because I'm not doing school tomorrow because my dad's going to be home all day on Friday. I have a medieval coloring book(as part of school!). I did a picture in it today. I also did one yesterday. They are REALLY detailed-so detailed that when you finish a picture, it looks real!!! Words, words, words, words, words, Words, WOrds, WORds, WORDs, WORDS, WWORDS, WWOORDS, WWOORRDS, WWOORRDDS, WWOORRDDSS!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I know that was WEIRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!! I don't know why I did it. Probably because I want to read. That reminds me, I had a LOT OF WORDS in my vocabulary this week. Very interesting words..........Like distant. I know you might be very far away! I mean, I know you might be very distant!

I AM SUPER CONFUSED!!!

When I sign into my blog, it says, for example, I have 140 posts. But the list when I get on my blog says I have 133 posts(this year). I have only had my blog since February 2008, so why is it DOING THIS??? I don't know what's wrong!

Hmmm.....

Hmmm.......My friend hasn't been on webkinz lately at our meeting time....Maybe she's on vacation??? She couldn't POSSIBLY have forgotten!!! She is on an hour later everyday so now we don't get our hour of chat. Maybe she is at a relatives house where the time zone is an hour behind? I don't know. I hope that's it and I hope she comes back soon!

Webkinz best friend award: Have you all forgotten?!

Have you all forgotten about the webkinz best friend award?! If you have webkinz, leave me your webkinz user name in a comment, please! I don't have a new best friend because nobody gave me their webkinz user name in a comment, so there's no winner this week!

Make-believe history...Sounds so real! Activities

Here are the activities:

Melopthorians:
The Melopthorian women wore fine silks. If you have any silk clothes, you can wear those today. If you don't have silk clothes, trade something with a sibling or friend since the Melopthorians liked to trade with the Israelites.

Drepthorians:
The Drepthorians were killed by the Greeks with knives and swords. If you have good cardboard, draw a sword on the cardboard and cut it out. If you want, make two cardboard swords and you and a sibling or friend can pretend you are the Drepthorians and the Romans!

Have fun!

Make-believe history...Sounds so real! More about it

More about make-believe history:
Make-believe history is really cool! It sounds so real. After every ten lessons, we start a new chapter. After every two chapters, we have a quiz. After every quiz, we have Lesson Cards. Here, write these down and cut them out. Here are the Lesson Cards:

Melopthorians

Write your card for the other lesson that way, too. On each line, write about the lesson. Have fun!

Make-believe history...Sounds so real! Quiz

After every two lessons, we have a quiz! Here:

The Dreptharians were fighting against the:
1. Israelites
2. Greeks
3. Romans

The Melopthorians came from:
1. Melopthoria
2. Greece
3. Rome

The Melopthorians bought ______ with their wealth:
1. Slaves
2. Furniture
3. Perfumes

The Dreptharians asked who to join their team:
1. Romans
2. Greeks
3. Melopthorians

You have to answer these on your own(you can use the lessons to help)!

Make believe history...Sounds so real! History lesson 2: Dreptharians

100-300 A.D.
History lesson 2: Dreptharians

The Dreptharians were very gentle and calm people...Until 130 A.D., that is! In 130 A.D. the Dreptharians started a war against the Romans. The children were taught to fight at just seven years old! The Romans were strong fighters and thought the attacks were very weak. The Dreptharians did not want to be thought of as weak fighters, so they started making the Greeks join their side of the war. The Greeks decided to help and their side grew stronger. What the Dreptharians didn't know that the Greeks joined just so that they could get rid of those Dreptharians. The Greeks woke up late at night and gathered up their knives and swords. They weren't going to attack the Romans, but the Dreptharians. They killed almost every Dreptharian soldier by morning. There were very few left. When the Dreptharians saw all the other soldiers dead, they asked the Greeks what happened. The Greeks said it was the Romans. When the Dreptharians started attacking again, the Romans easily killed them all. What evil Greeks!

End of lesson 2: Dreptharians

Make-believe history...Sounds so real! History lesson 1: Melopthorians

80-200 A.D.
History lesson 1: Melopthorians
You know, I already posted some of their language. This is where to learn all about them:

The Melopthorians lived in Israel a long time ago...Thousands of years, really! They were not called Israelites because they didn't really LIVE there-they came from a small island called Melopthoria. They decided they didn't have enough room, so they decided to go to Rome. They didn't get to Rome, though. They somehow got to Israel! They believed in gods, like the sun god, Ra, and very few were Christians. If one was found to be Christian, they either got beaten or sent to prison. They loved to trade goods with the Israelites. They traded silver for precious silks. Many of the women wore silks like these. Wealthy families bought slaves and made them sew clothes from the precious silks. If the clothes didn't look the way the family wanted them to, the slave got beaten. Imagine that!

End of lesson 1: Melopthorians

Silly Saturday

Okay, my mom has things on her blog like Wordless Wednesday, Works For Me Wednesday, and a few other things like that. Now, I have some stuff like that. This is my Silly Saturday post:

This morning my dad was really silly. My little sister Owa kept saying we were out of diapers. Here:
"We're out of diapers,"Owa said."We drive a diaper?"my dad said,"We don't drive a diaper!"Olivia said again,"No! We're out of diapers!" "Oh,"my dad said,"You want to eat diapers for breakfast?"Owa was very frustrated."No, no, NO!!!"she said,"We're out of diapers!!!" "Okay. You want me to wear a diaper?!"my dad said. Olivia almost screamed,"NNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! We're all out of diapers!" "No,"my dad said,"That's underwear. But Gracie wears diapers. Did you know we're all out of diapers?" "YES!"Owa said."Why didn't you tell me?"my dad said. Everone started laughing.

Here's a joke:
A woman went to the store to buy a ChapStick. It cost one dollar. When she got to the checkout, she gave the cashier four quarters."You could have gave me a dollar,"the cashier said."I know,"the woman said,"Four quarters equals a dollar." "But a dollarIS worth more than four quarters,"the cashier said. The woman didn't understand."How is that?"she asked."A dollar is bigger than four quarters put next to each other,"the cashier replied."You're right,"the woman said. She took the quarters back and gave the cashier a dollar.

Weird post

This is a weird song I came up with in all different sized letters!:

He had a dog and a cat and lots of other animals. There were pigs that went moo and cows that went meow on that small farm in India. Yeah!

SMALL LETTERS!

I tried out big letters, now I'll try small letters:

I have decided to write a post in extra-large letters! Here:
Aren't these letters huge? Who would ever write a post with letters this big?! They are three times the size of the regular letters!!! OK. I'm done. I just wanted to try these letters out!

Weird words: More weird and wacky words

Red: Mad
Yellow: Happy
Green: Silly

Blue: Sad

Yadaho: Yad-a-who: Excited and happy because of a trip.
Erglespurgle: Erg-ul-spur-gull: Mad and angry because your(little)brother and sister are being annoying.
Erapae:AeEir-a-pay: Happy because it's a holiday or birthday today.
Orpadooskey: Er-pa-doo-skey: Just being silly.
Ershapa: Er-shap-a: Bored or sad.

What I learned this week

The roll-out thing that the keyboard sits on is stuck, so I have it on my lap instead. I had a quiz over the week for history(did I mention it's the 2nd Mystery of History book?). It was hard. I am reading a new book for reading. It is the first book in the series(like I said last week). I have a new math book, too. The math problems I did today were easy. They were stuff like 7+8 and 11-4(7+8=15 and 11-4=7, by the way. Of course you know that already!!!). Bye!
